Welcome to the website of the Journées 2024 of the French Society of Astronomy & Astrophysics (SF2A).

The “SF2A week” will be held from June 4th to 7th in Marseille, at Faculté de Droit on la Canebière (see Practical informations).


Mornings will be dedicated to the plenary sessions (scientific reviews, foresight presentations, GA …) while the afternoons will be dedicated to workshops organised by the national programs (PN), specific actions (AS) of CNRS/INSU and the community.

Important dates

  • February 9th: Opening of registration
  • March 12th: grants application deadline for participation of distant post-docs/PhD students
  • March 27th (extended to March 31st): abstract submission deadline for the workshops (“registration” tab; and then “add a presentation” by selecting the workshop)
  • April 17th: end of early-fees registration (100/150 euros)
  • May 10th: end of registration (140/190 euros)
  • May 26th : end of online registration (30 / 70 euros)

No on-site registration will be accepted, under penalty of an additional late on–site registration fee of 190 euros.
